Gabhra
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gabhra or Tara-Skryne is a valley in County Meath in Ireland. It is situated between the hills of Tara and Skryne, giving it its more common name, the Tara-Skryne Valley.
This was the site of the Battle of Gabhra circa 284, where the power of the Fianna was broken by the High King. The battle is described in the Book of Leinster.
