Gabriel Daniel Norwood (born on February 2, 1985) is a Filipino-American former NCAA basketball player at George Mason University. Norwood is currently playing for Hapee Toothpaste in the Philippine Basketball League. He is also a member of the Philippine national basketball team.

[edit] Collegiate career
Norwood spent his life in many different parts of the United States while his father coached different collegiate football teams. In high school, he and his brother (Jordan Norwood, a football player at Penn State where his father currently coaches) were part of the state championship team at State College Area High School.

Norwood, a 6'4" Guard-forward, was a member of the national basketball team of the Philippines, which represented the country in the William Jones Cup, and in the FIBA Asia Championship 2007.
Norwood drafted 1st Overall by Philippine Basketball League team Hapee Toothpaste.
In 2007, Norwood's rec league team won the State College, PA recreational league championship.

Norwood was named to the Philippine training pool for future international competitions. He has played in the 2007 William Jones Cup held in the Taiwan, in which the national team finished third place in the tounament.
