G L Roberts Collegiate and Vocational Institute

G L Roberts Collegiate and Vocational Institute is located in Oshawa, Ontario within the Durham District School Board. The school has students in grades 9-12 and offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities.
Sports at GL include Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Soccer, Softball, Volleyball, Bowling, Wrestling, Badminton and Track & Field.
The Basketball team is one of the best in the area, and winning LOSSA was not a problem, but the 2006 season saw the Lakers not get the title for the first time in a few years (senior boys).
The baseball team in 2007 had a great season going 6-2 ( 1st Place ) and winning the South Oshawa Cup. All this changed during the playoffs, as they were eliminated in the first game.
