G. B. Amar is his short name, but he really means Gangadhar Behera (Amar).

He is a sociolinguistic researcher in India. Now he is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, but basically he is from Orissa. His home town is Phulbani, where did his studies. After his 12th, he moved to Rajasthan to continue his further studies. He often travels, because his profession is like that. He is a multilingual person; knows Hindi, English and Oriya; Oriya is his Mother Tongue. He can also understand few Indian languages like Gujarati, Marathi, Rajasthani, Bhojpuri, Sadri, Bengali and little bit of Malayalam. He is a friendly and social oriented guy. you could easily reach him ( amloved@yahoo.co.in )... no prob.

He has done few sociolinguistic research among the minority languages and people groups like; (Bagheli in Madhya Pradesh), (Korwa and Kodaku in Chattisgarh and Jharkhand), (Mewati in Rajashan, Haryana and Punjab), (Muria Gondi in Maharastra, Chhattisgarh and Orissa) and (KLM - Kharia, Lodha and Mahali in Orissa, West Benagal and Jharkhand). Any information regrading above language and people groups can be collected from him personally.
