G. Pulla Reddy

G. Pulla Reddy is a philanthropist and a humanist from Andhra Pradesh, India, best known for G. Pulla Reddy chain of sweets outlets in Hyderabad and Kurnool. The sweet store chain was started in Kurnool in 1948 and then expanded to Hyderabad. It is famous for its kova and boondhi laddus.
G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College in Kurnool was founded by him. He has founded revolutionary institutions for the education and well being of the down trodden and physically/mentally challenged children and senior citizens.
He died on 9th may,2007. He is remembered for his courage and dedication to work.
