[edit] Pictures
Hi, can somebody please find a good picture of the group. It would make the article look a lot better.
Thanks The-G-Unit-Boss 11:28, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unreadable
Sections of this are practically unreadable. This should be massively rewritten. I would consider doing it but I really no nothing about the topic Mswer 19:13, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, What sections do you believe are of poor quality. I will have a look and try to make them more understandable. Reply here or on my talk page. --Thanks

- I think replacing slang would help for people who don't understand it.
[edit] Problem
"Big Fase 100" is mentioned as The Game's brother, but "Big Fase 100" redirects to The Game's page.--Josh1billion 06:55, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, I removed the link. Big Fase 100 no longer redirects to the game.
Thanks for noticing this error. --The-G-Unit-Boss 14:18, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
-
- I reverted your edit. Big Fase 100 should redirect to The Game article, just like Hailie Jade redirects to Eminem. Daniil Maslyuk 16:23, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

- Up at the top of the page, someone changed the names of the people and what G-Unit stands for. so you might want to change that 12:27, 27 March 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.25.62.57 (talk)

[edit] Website
I changed website address from www.g-unit.com to www.g-unitsoldier.com because www.g-unit.com led to G-Unit Records website (oddly, www.g-unit.com and www.g-unitrecords.com are the same website but with different addresses) and www.g-unitsoldier.com leads to G-Unit website. A special note for The-G-Unit-Boss: I will be reverting every your edit that violates Wikipedia:Manual of Style, especially such thing as wrong capitalization. You better stop "making article look better" that way. Thanks and peace! Daniil Maslyuk 06:22, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, I dont mean to get on your nerves, but where in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style does it say about not capitalizing website addresses? If you tell me I would be delighted to stop capitalizing them. --The-G-Unit-Boss 11:02, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
-
- First of all, Wikipedia:Manual of Style does not mention anything about capitalizing website addresses (therefore it means website address should be treated like regular words), secondly, note that Musical artist infobox sample template does not capitalize website address, and so do not featured articles (examples include Sly & the Family Stone, AC/DC and Pink Floyd among others). Ya got any objections? Thanks! Daniil Maslyuk 12:40, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
-
-
- Hi, Yeh I see what you mean, ok ill stop changing them to capitalized as I see that you were only doing what you thought was right. At first it seemed that you was just intent upon reverting all of my edits. Thanks --The-G-Unit-Boss 13:24, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject:G-Unit
Hi, There is a proposed WikiProject for G-Unit. Please add your name to the list if you are interested. See--WikiProject:G-Unit Thanks --The-G-Unit-Boss 20:15, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Citations
Article needs more citations. I went through the biography section just now and discovered a fair amount of POV and unsourced statements. I have thus added tags to these so someone more aquainted with the... 'group'... can deal with them. I will go through the remaining sections and hopefully remove any gangster slang and unsourced POV material I find. ScarianTalk 23:28, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Colloquial Slang
"Disses" and "Beefs" are colloquial slang. They are NOT mainstream words of the English language. Wikipedia is aimed at everyone, but not everyone will know what "Disses" and "Beefs" are. Please, do not continue to use them in wikipedia. In my previous edit, I removed one of each example and replaced it with "Diatribes" and "Altercation's" respectively. Those are real standard grammar words. ScarianTalk 23:39, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
- That's really funny. That's exactly the type of words I would expect some editors to use on an article like this. - Throw 20:10, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cleanup
Right now, as of July 2007, this article needs a lot of cleanup. Most of this page is about their feuds but there's virtually nothing about their music. A lot of the controversy feuds can definitely be reduced. Spellcast 03:52, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- I have reduced the "Controversy" section quite a lot see here. We just need to add some information about their actual music and expand their biography section. --The-G-Unit-Boss 19:56, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] New Beef Track
I found something on a website called Datpiff. A G-Unit/Dumout member Mazaradi Fox made a track called "Killa Season" which is taking shots at Dipset Leader Cam'ron on the "HoodBangaz 4 Mixtape", check it out, this is only more information in the "Controversy" section marked under "Other Fueds"—Preceding unsigned comment added by Halo2playa91 (talk • contribs)
- Thanks for putting that new information up here. But the feuds section is currently being reduced to meet the Good article criteria. See 50 Cent. Thanks --The-G-Unit-Boss 16:06, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Founding Members"
Doesn't Smurf count as a founding member? He did grow up with 50 Cent—Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.116.240.90 (talk • contribs)
- I dont think that Smurf and Domination where actually "Official" members of the group. Thanks --The-G-Unit-Boss 18:42, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
-
- No, no, I don't mean offical members. Bang Em Smurf grew with 50, along with Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. And the beginning of the G Unit page begins with founding members, in which Bang Em Smurf is an actual founding member because he grew up along with them.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.116.240.90 (talk • contribs)
- I understand what you mean, but Bang Em Smurf didnt actually form the group with them. It was purely Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and 50 Cent was it not. Bang Em Smurf was just affiliated with them. Thanks --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 09:18, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Ok so if Bang Em Smurf and Domination are not classified as official members, then shouldn't their names be removed from the "Former Members" part? If their names should be mentioned on former members, then Oliva should be mentioned as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.138.143.10 (talk • contribs)
- Olivia was never in G-Unit. She was actually signed to G-Unit Records. Also we need a source to confirm whether Bang Em' Smurf and Domination were actually in the group before we make major changes because the article has included them for a long time. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 08:44, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Yes, that's what I meant. Because Bang Em Smurf wasn't initially in the G Unit group, he is listed on this page as former members, indicated that he actually was a member of G Unit, when in actually he isn't, but he was signed to G Unit Records. Then Olivia, who was also not in G Unit, but signed to G Unit records, should be listed as well then. This would seem logical to me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.116.240.90 (talk • contribs)
- During the days of Bang Em' Smurf, G-Unit Records had not been established. It was founded after the release of Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. Also Olivia was never in G-Unit as a group she was on the record label like Young Hot Rod, Mobb Deep etc. We need to establish whether or not he was in the group G-Unit or just an affiliate --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 20:11, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Ok, before I say anything, This is not an arguement ok? I'm just saying. Ok so let's say that Smurf was an associate, and he is listed as former memebrs. Domination is also an associate but he is also listed as former members. Therefore, Olivia who was also not in the G Unit group specifically, but she was an associate. Shouldn't she be listed as former members by that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.116.240.90 (talk • contribs)
- No this isnt an argument, just a disscussion lol. Rather than adding Olivia, we should remove the other two? --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 11:56, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Yes, a disscussion. I think removing Domination and Smurf would be correct as it would be logical. The Game is, well to me, is the only Official former member of G-Unit. Removing The other 2 would be logical to do. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.116.240.90 (talk • contribs)
- Yes, but we need to find out if Bang Em' Smurf and Domination were actually in the group in the first place. thats what we dont know. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 11:46, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
It has never been officially said? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.138.137.5 (talk) 01:04, August 27, 2007 (UTC)
- Not in any interviews that I have read oor heard. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 10:31, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
Wow. Well, how do you confirm something if it's never been said? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.138.137.5 (talk) 04:32, August 28, 2007 (UTC)
- Dunno lol. It must be in an interview somewhere, I just havent seen it. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 09:50, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
This is gonna hard to figure lol —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.138.137.5 (talk) 23:55, August 28, 2007 (UTC)
Bang Em Smurf and Domination acutually founded G Unit, 50 later joined. 69.209.148.66 (talk) 18:46, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Contreversy or Fueds
How G Unit's fueds count as being contreversial? But for rappers like Lil Wayne, it's only fueds? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.138.137.247 (talk) 05:27, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- it just depends how you rename a section header. If its named "Controversy" then it can contain fueds as well as other controversies however if it is named "Feuds" you would need another section if you wanted to add other controversies. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 09:07, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] On Current and Former Members of G-Unit
I believe that it would do well for the accurateness of your page to include that Olivia was a former member of G-Unit and, likewise, that Spider Loc, Young Hot Rod, Mobb Deep, and M.O.P. are the current artists signed to the G-Unit roster. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.184.132.171 (talk • contribs)
- They aren't signed to the G-Unit group, they're signed to the record label. There is a difference. JpGrB 05:30, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Trivia?
Tony Yayo is the only member of G-Unit (past and present) to not have been shot before? I just thought it up just now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.24.92.67 (talk) 02:06, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Trivia sections are discourages. See WP:TRIVIA. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 18:00, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Former Members
I put in a cleanup-section tag in this area. It was heavily vandalized and contained questionable edits by users such as Rkorn542. Hopefully some more knowledgeable editors can tackle this daunting task. If it can't be sorted out soon I'll take a stab at it, but that would take the form of some massive revert, and I'm sure someone here can do better.WDavis1911 08:41, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Members of G-Unit
I changed the members. There are only 4 members of G-Unit (the group): 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, and Tony Yayo. Everybody else signed to G-Unit Records, not the group. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.167.232.148 (talk) 05:08, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Now Young Hot Rod Is A Member Of G-unit —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nathdawg (talk • contribs) 09:54, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

- Wasn't Mase a part of G-unit at some point? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 168.18.232.93 (talk) 06:00, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
-
- Mase and Hot Rod were both signed to G-Unit Records. They weren't actually in the group G-Unit. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 18:00, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Hot Rod member of G-Unit
Young Hot Rod Is now a member of g-unit he is the newest member.
- Hot Rod is actually an artists on G-Unit Records, hes not a member of G-Unit. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 18:00, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Associated Acts
What determines who is an "associated act" with artist xyz? For example why is Joe in this category and not Mobb Deep? Dramatello (talk) 00:19, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- I don't actually think that Joe belongs in the associated acts section. Ill change it to G-unit Records because all artists on the label should be affiliated. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 18:00, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Mixtape Section
I have added the mixtape section to the page, if that is alright. I thought it would be appropriate to include G-Unit's mixtape work also.
- Thank you, but they're not notable enough to be here, their page at the discography is fine. --JpGrB 23:15, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
