G-Phoria is an annual video game awards show started in 2003 and produced by G4. The awards show is voted on by viewers, much like the People's Choice Awards.

Formerly the event was formatted like a regular awards ceremony taped in front of an audience, featuring celebrities such as Hal Sparks, Carmen Electra, Wilmer Valderamma and Anna Nicole Smith, and musical performances, along with a red carpet preview show, and some game premieres. However in 2006, the show was significantly downgraded likely because of derision by videogame media and fans about the previous awards shows[citation needed], as well as the network's shift in editorial direction away from video games, and control of the show was given over to X-Play, which made it a pure viewer's choice show hosted by Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb.
