Gōdo, Gifu

Gōdo (神戸町 Gōdo-chō?) is a town located in Anpachi District, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It is located in the southwestern portion of the prefecture and is well-known for its various flora, including roses and pines.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 20,911 and a density of 1,114.06 persons per km². The total area is 18.77 km².

- April 1, 1889 - The Gōdo is established as a village.
- 1892 - The village becomes a town.
- April 1, 1950 - Merged with the village Kita Hirano.
- April 1, 1954 - Merged with the villages of Shimomiya and Minami Hirano.
- April 1, 1960 - Absorbed the Nishizakura section of the neighboring town Ōno.
- 2004 - Citizens rejected a merger with the neihboring city of Ogaki.
