Talk:Günter Wand
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It's very nice to see that an article on Wand has been added, but now I'm confused about the correct spelling of his first name. I'm pretty sure there ought to be an umlaut over the "u", but now I have no idea if the second syllable should be "ter" or "ther". - Del_arte
- The Penguin Dictionary of Music gives him without an H, so I've taken it out the article (didn't notice it was there before). --Camembert
[edit] Positions
The box does not cite Wand as having occupied a formal position either at the Gürzenich or Cologne Radio Symphony. Is that right?
Also the sentence "In 1974, he left Cologne to conduct the WDR" looks weird to me since the WDR (West German Radio) is based in Cologne. S.Camus 08:26, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
