Günter Ollenschläger

Günter Ollenschläger (born 1951 in Bonn) is a German physician and medical editor. He has been chief editor of the German Journal for Evidence and Quality in Healthcare ZEFQ and head of the German Agency for Quality in Medicine since 1995.
Günter Ollenschläger was co-founder of the German Network for Evidence Based Medicine in 1998 [1] and of the Guidelines International Network in 2002. [2].

Günter Ollenschläger, a certified pharmacist and general internist, has a pharmaceutical doctorate from the university of Münster, a medical doctorate from the university of Giessen, and the venia legendi from the university of Cologne, where he is professor for internal medicine. He did research and editorial work in the fields of pharmacokinetics, tumor related malnutrition, metabolism, evidence-based medicine[3] and adult education.
