Göteborg Marathon

Göteborg Marathon is an annual marathon running competition in Gothenburg, the second-largest city in Sweden.
The race is taking place in October, and has been organaised annually since the 1980-ies. There is also a half marathon race at the same time. The half marathon starts from the old athletics arena Slottsskogsvallen in Slottskogen park and goes southwards to a turning point at the sea. The marathon race has two such laps. The race is relatively flat.
