[edit] Constant Removal Of Links By Unknown User and Unnecessary Public Comments About Links
Some time ago I removed several links to 'Gites De France' as this article, and the other article which it still links to, appear to be nothing more than a spammy promotion of 'Gites De France'. Gites De France is a commercial co-operation, regardless of whatever other labels or titles may have been conferred upon it over the years from it's inception, and every link anent Gites has been towards this organisation. To say that Gites De France is a 'national' organisation would be like saying Yellow Pages is the only official telephone book. It is not an official french government department, as appears to be constantly getting implied. I replaced one of the 'Gites De France' links because it linked to the french language version of the site, and I put in it's place a website I found when I googled gites. I looked the other site over and it appeared suitable for a link to give another example of a French Gite Listing site, but in english this time. Just about every wiki article has external links to websites, usually for greater clarity or examples of the material to which the article relates. The constant association of 'Gites' with 'Gites De France' is a biased promotion, and such related matters of apparent commercialism and apparent brand name promoting was one of the reasons this article was almost deleted.
I would ask that the user of IP 83.155.141.206, firstly identify themself, and then politely request that they stop altering these links as it is wholly against the policies of Wikipedia. You have repeatedly removed other people's reversals of your efforts in clear violation of wikipedia recommendations over editing wars. If you have a problem with the neutrality of links, then this area is the proper place for discussion of that and not the article itself, where you also placed unneccesary comments. If you wish to engage in disucssion concerning links or any other part of the article, this is also the place to do it.
