you write: "But since his death in 1976 at the age of fifty-four his high reputation has faded somewhat from view."
Be carefull with a view, which might be true only form the point of view of a far-away-province!
Geza Anda is today, with all the interpretations documented on CD, far away from a "somewhat fading out reputation", but simply considered as one of the very important CREATORS of Interpretations of European Music.
