Fyrishov

Fyrishov is a sport complex in Uppsala, Sweden. The name Fyrishov comes from the river Fyris. The floorball team Storvreta IBK and the basketball team Sallén Basket usually plays in the greatest of the arenas in the complex, which also holds facilities for sports such as bowling, gymnastics, weight lifting, judo, boxing and swimming and a water park. The swimming pool, which Upsala SS uses, is Olympic sized. It was built as an outdoor pool called Fyrisbadet and covered in 1990 when the complex was created.
