Fuzz (music company)

Fuzz Artists, Inc. is a music company headquartered in San Francisco, California launched in March 2007. Fuzz integrates a music label, web-based artist promotion, e-commerce platform, and a music-centric social networking community. The company’s stated mission is to build a fair, open, powerful, and participatory platform for people to create, share, and discover great music.

Fuzz.com provides free accounts for both artists and music fans. Artists can create an artist profile, band member profiles, post photos and news, list shows and events, write blogs, befriend other artists and fans, upload and manage mailing lists, sell their music, and track the results of their business efforts. Fuzz also provides distribution arrangements, production, recording, promotion, and management to artists. Fans can create a user profile, discover, search, review, recommend and purchase new music, create and share playlists, post photos and blogs, add friends, and pick favorite artists. As favorite artists or friends add new shows, public or private messages, blog entries and playlists, fans are given notifications on their Fuzz page.
