Template talk:Future film

Just a thought: why does this template mention the "film's release" when the other similar templates mention the "game release" and "album release"? Is there a reason for the possessive in this particular case? Or should the others also be possessive? --Sj26 15:49, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Category sorting?
I just spent several frustrating minutes trying to figure out why Bernadette Peters was appearing in the category Category:Upcoming films when she is not, obviously, an upcoming film. It turns out it was because someone used the template {{future film}} in the article and that template automatically places the article into that category. It might be good to see if there is some way to avoid this problem, perhaps with a parameter that identifies whether the article is about a future film or if it merely has information about a future film. -- Antaeus Feldspar 21:39, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Well, if there was something in the article that related to a future film, why should the article as a whole not be in the category "future films"? The question to ask is: "should there be so much info about a future film in an article about an actress?", not "should an article about an actress that has a lengthy discussion about her future films be in the category "future films"?"
