Future Primitive (band)

Future Primitive, a melodic hardcore Straight Edge band from Southern California. The band was established in 2005. Their first release, entitled "Expression Sessions", is a forceful seven song EP which includes a cover of an unreleased Inside Out song, featuring Vic DiCara as a guest guitarist. Future Primitive has toured with Set It Straight and Broadway Calls, and shared the stage with Killing the Dream, 108, and Verse. The band is known for energetic and emotional live performances. Future Primitive is fueled by the support of a healthy underground following from all over California.

Future Primitive had its origins as early as 2001, as an idea in the minds of frontman Ryan Power and guitarist Mikkei Redemption. The goal: to establish a band of Straight Edge musicians and play fast no school hardcore. It was not until 2005 that Future Primitve emerged with a solid line up and EP. Since then the band's agenda has centered on extensive California touring from Redding to San Diego. Future Primitive likes dudes.

"Expression Sessions" is Future Primitive's first and only release. The EP/Demo was recorded in 2005 at Static-Void in Fontana, California by Vic DiCara. The self-released EP features six original songs and also a cover of "Nowhere To Turn", an unreleased Inside Out song which features Vic DiCara as a guest guitarist.
