Future News

Future News is a 24-hour news channel. It is a sister channel to Future Television. It was launched on December 9, 2007. The channel offers not just political news, but it also offers social, documentary,financial... shows. The channel mainly supports the views of the Future Movement. Future News was closed by Hezbollah on May 9th, during the 2008 Lebanon conflict, when hundreds of masked militants attacked its offices in a move many view as a crime against democracy and freedom of the press. After moving its broadcasting headquarters, the station was back on the air on May 13th at 4:30 p.m (Lebanese Local Time). On May 17th, the channel went back to its original offices.
