[edit] Development activity
(disclaimer: I'm a minor contributor to Fuse) I removed this observation: "...some parts of the code have not been touched for over 2 years." It isn't a meaningful measure of how actively developed the project is - you'll find 2 year old code in almost any sufficiently old software project, including the ones in Sourceforge's "most active" list. Try it... Slovakia 10:04, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- Version 0.8.0.1 was released on 11 May 2007. I am not editing the page per my great big conflict of interest. --Pak21 10:11, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- I've updated it, but I must make the same disclaimer: I'm also a minor contributor to Fuse, so I will not make any significant changes to the article. --StuartBrady (Talk) 11:47, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- This would be a general problem with free software projects appearing on Wikipedia: the bar to contributing is low enough that the subset of people who a) are suitably knowledgable about it and b) aren't contributors is artificially small... but as I'm only on the fringes of Fuse development, I dare say I'm better placed than most, so I've Been Bold and now added Pak21's references below. [edit] Notability
Not adding any of this again, but the best reference would be
