[edit] History
The group was assembled by brothers Ian Black and Peter Black, who put together a collection of songs with the intention of recording and releasing them. This was done during March 2003, and by September 2003, Ian had assembled a live four-piece line-up.
The band released their debut single "Independent Woman" in 2003 to some positive reviews. Fuser then headed back into the studio to start work on their debut album. The group's debut limited edition EP was released independently.
The band started receiving some recognition with their follow-up single "'The Rules'" after a showing on the NZ On Air sponsored "Off the Record" [1] segment on The Rock FM radio station. "'The Rules'" also appeared on the cover CD for the UK Rocksound magazine. [2] This was quickly followed up by a limited edition EP.
Fuser's debut album was released in 2006.
