[edit] Somalia

Hi!

your recent edits to the 2008 timeline of the War in Somalia had no sources at all. Due to the delicate situation regarding the article, and the numbers specifically, I removed your "May 9" addition and the numbers. Feel free to revert my removal if you find the sources.--TheFEARgod (Ч) 15:29, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

also, please see if some events were already mentioned, as some of your May 9 details seem to fit in to the May 8 events already included. Cheers, --TheFEARgod (Ч) 15:31, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
again, I must ask you to be more careful. The article http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24526442/ has May 8, 2008 as a date, see it: all events are for May 8. As I can see, the ambushes/civilian deaths were already mentioned...the only new thing to add is the 4 TFG dead in Mogadishu.--TheFEARgod (Ч) 15:58, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

You didn't see the two articles talk about the same incident? [1] and [2]. Sinka dher = Sinkadher. --TheFEARgod (Ч) 20:44, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

You're doing a great job at the timeline. Just avoid adding duplicate news like I said above. Are you a Somali? Do you own some relevant photos? Cheers, --TheFEARgod (Ч) 11:22, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Yeah thanks. It gets problematic because different news sources describe the deaths in different ways. To answer your question. Yeah I am a Somali. Unfortuantly I came to the UK has a child so my knowledge of Somali is pretty much dead. English is my first language. I can only speak conversational Somali but I can't read it. My parents how ever frequent Somali websites for news and a lot of what goes out in Somali websites only 5% goes on the english websites. There is a wealth of photos of Ethiopian atrocities,Somali and Ethiopian soldiers beating and looting civilians and of rebel fighters killing them. Also there is more attacks there. A recent one I heard was Ethiopian soldiers accidentally mortaring a TFG base a month after some of their soldiers killed TFG soldiers. Furious Stormrage (talk) 11:49, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

of course there are more attacks, the 2008 timeline shows only a minimum reported by witnesses. But also I don't believe PRESS TV claims of 50 soldiers dead per day.--TheFEARgod (Ч) 21:04, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Yeah. Casualties like that would be impossible to hide.Furious Stormrage (talk) 21:08, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
