I'm a PhD student at the Institute of Communications Research at the University of Illinois, focusing on participatory media forms, particularly in relation to political economy, technology, and public debate. My personal research has focused on weblogs/online discussion (definition (PDF), analysis, more analysis), electronic voting, radio (analysis of community radio structure, future of radio, spectrum policy (PDF)).
