Funboard

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A funboard is a type of surfboard which combines elements of both shortboards and longboards. It is generally midsized, usually 7 to 8 feet. The funboard's design allows it to catch waves more easily than a shortboard, yet with a shape that makes it more maneuverable than a longboard; hence it is a popular type of surfboard, especially among beginners, or those transitioning from longboarding to the more difficult shortboarding. This makes it the best combination in most people's view due to the combination of the speed of a shortboard and the maneuverability of a longboard.[1]
