Hi Fullerene! Thanks for reverting edits. Good job with the VHS article - it's a very professional and well-written work, conforms to the Style Guides, etc. I hope that it's not necessary to patrol every high-school article in the `pedia to keep alumni of these institutions from shameless and commercialistic self-promotion. If anyone gives you trouble, remember:

Good luck! Nimur 02:54, 2 June 2006 (UTC) (VSHS alumnus, 1999-2001)

Thanks for the spelling correction. Amazingly quickly done. Paul Hjul 08:04, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] PROD warning

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article American Airlines flight 1740, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:American Airlines flight 1740. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Chris_Carrabba.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Chris_Carrabba.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 13:10, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Chris Carrabba.jpg

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Chris Carrabba.jpg, by NoCultureIcons, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Chris Carrabba.jpg fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:

fair use is just rubbish in this case, there are half a dozen decent free images of the guy at flickr --NoCultureIcons 23:27, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:Chris Carrabba.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Chris Carrabba.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 23:46, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Great job on VHS :D

Hi there! Just wanted to say "keep up the good work!" on the VHS article (I am alumnus, just about to graduate college, and am bored during senior week-- the week between finals and the actual graduation ceremony). Thanks! --Pennstatephil (talk) 02:04, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
