Talk:Fully-fashioned knitting
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The previous entry (Abidomar) described all fully-fashioned knitting (2D shaped pieces that need to be sewn) as though it were complete garment knitting (3D seamless). I moved much of his description to a new page called complete garment knitting. Now that I have pulled apart the two techniques, I am a bit unclear as to result what Abidomar meant was possible with, "note, is also possible with a single needle bed for two-dimensional or 'flat' structures -- and is achieved by: . . ." Nonetheless, I thought the enumeration of the technique options gave a higher resolution view into how the technology works, so I left it. It is a bit jargon-y. As the thread builds, hopefully more content explicating the loop formation options will come in that's moe newbie-friendly.
