[edit] Summary
This is a scan of an image received on a Fultograph in 1928 or 1929. I made the scan myself. There is no known record of the photographer or original copyright holder of the image, and the Engish company that was almost certainly responsible for broadcasting the image (The Wireless Pictures (1928) Company Ltd) became bankrupt and ceased trading in 1929. It is perhaps reasonable to assume that this company owned the copyright of the image. This scan is intended to be a fair use representation of the sort of image quality that the Fultograph machine achieved. Very few Fultograph images survive today (around 80 years after the - very expensive - system became obsolete). On this basis I think it's reasonable to give this a PD-old-70 copyright tag. I hereby release to the public domain all rights which might have been accrued to me by dint of scanning the image...
The original image is approximately 65 x 129mm. G1MFG 15:45, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
