Fullpower is a company focused on the convergence of life sciences, wireless technology, nanotechnology and MEMS. It was founded in 2003 by Philippe Kahn, inventor of the camera phone[2], and Sonia Lee. The Fullpower website recently posted hints of a new technology called MotionX. Little information has been released on MotionX besides a tagline of "Motion is Life, Life is Motion" and a list of trademarks including TapTap, ShakeShake, and TiltTilt which provide some indication of what the technology is. The Fullpower site also makes a statement that "MotionX is to Motion what Dolby is to sound."[3] No further information is available.

In a 2007 NPR interview, Kahn discusses his areas of focus including hints at Fullpower's direction and technology. In a recent article by the Associated Press, Kahn hints that Fullpower, in addition to other things, will "help make camera phones better."[4] Fullpower provides a multitasking operating environment for sensors including MEMS accelerometers, proximity sensors, ambient light sensors, pressure sensors, magnetormeters, GPS chips as well as other MEMS and health sensors.
