Full Diesel

Full Diesel is a hard rock/metal band from Finland. They were formed in 2003 from the remains of another band called Thing-In-Itself. Their songs "No Man's Land" and "King of Defeat" are on the soundtrack of the 2004 video game FlatOut.

Taken from Full Diesel's MySpace [1]: The grounds of Full Diesel were formed during the spring of 2003 in Finland. Since finding the right line-up to match the musical vision, thus completing the birth process, the band has worked on molding their sound into an energetic & original blend of hard rock and metal. The latest EP, titled 187, is yet another fierce demonstration of the bands natural development towards authentic ass-kicking combined with fresh exploration.

Full Diesel's releases have been subject to a lot of positive feedback from listeners all around the world. A growing number of praising reviews in Finnish magazines and international netzines have sparked interest among those who haven't had the chance to get acquainted with the band yet. Among other positive achievements, the efficient promotion of the first self-titled EP (Full Diesel 2003) led to cooperation with the game developer Bugbear Entertainment, whose worldwide success FlatOut (over 600,000 copies sold) features Full Diesels music on the games soundtrack. The bands songs have also been aired on several radio shows and streamed internet broadcasts. The first two EPs are fully downloadable at the official website, which has increased the international listener count by thousands, judging by the soaring number of downloads and where the f*** can I buy your records from in my country? questions.

During the bands few years of existence, Full Diesel have played as many gigs as possible at various types of events ranging from small clubs to outdoors festivals all over Finland and the crowd reaction has been absolutely positive. The powerful live performances catch the audiences attention very effectively.

Currently the band is on hiatus, for an unknown period of time. No options for the future have been declared, but high hopes for a comeback remain.
