Fulham Academy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Fulham Academy, headed by John Murtough, runs along the lines of many of the English football academies as deemed appropriate by the national governing body, the FA. Players dealt with by the academy can be aged as young as nine years old. As part of their training, young players are guided with the aim to gain a BTEC and NVQ qualification.
Until a few years ago it was run by Steve Kean who upon Chris Coleman's appointment as first team Manager in summer 2003 was named as his assistant. It is based at Fulham's training ground in Motspur Park.
