Fukiage, Kagoshima

This article is about the former town in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. There was a town in Saitama Prefecture with the same name, see Fukiage, Saitama.
Fukiage (吹上町; -chou) was a town located in Hioki District, Kagoshima, Japan. On May 1, 2005 the town merged with three other towns forming the city of Hioki and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 9,833 and the density of 101.38 persons per km². The total area was 96.99 km².
