Fujiwara no Koretada

Fujiwara no Koretada (藤原 伊尹; 924 - 972), also known as Koremasa, was a kugyo (Japanese aristocrat) who served as regent. He is usually credited with solidifying the dominance of Fujiwara family in imperial court. Born the first son to Morosuke, he took over the family as head after his uncle Saneyori (900 - 970) died.
