This article is about the city in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. There are two towns in Japan with the same name, see Fujioka, Aichi and Fujioka, Tochigi.
Fujioka (藤岡市 Fujioka-shi?) is a city in Gunma, Japan.
As of October 1, 2007, the city had an estimated population of 68,783 and a density of 381.94 persons per km². The total area is 180.09 km².
The city was founded on April 1, 1954.
On January 1, 2006, Onishi, a town just south of the city, merged into Fujioka.

- 1889 - Fujioka town, Kanna village, Ono village, Midori village, Mikuri village, Hirai village, Oniishi town, Hino village,and Sanbagawa village are created in Midorino District. Mihara village is created in Minamikanra District.
- 1896 - Midorino District, Minamikanra District, and Tago District are united and renamed Tano District.
- 1954 - Kanna village, Ono village, Midori village, and Mikuri village are merged into Fujioka town, and is renamed Fujioka city.
- 1955 - Hirai village and Sanbagawa village are merged into Fujioka city.
- 2006 - Oniishi village is merged into Fujioka city.
