[edit] Tatterbits
Let me reply point by point...
- "I am new..." -- Welcome to Wikipedia.
- "... and am trying to format the page to not be deleted... but apparently am too slow." -- The formatting was not the reason I deleted the article. The content was the reason I deleted the article. It appeared to start off with an unsourced description of something like Tater Tots, then continued with a disparaging description of a forum-goer.
- "Can you please bring it back so that I can continue improveing the page?" -- No, I will not restore the article with the same contents.
- "I have edited it almost every day... several edits with the heading "so will not be deleted"." -- The edits you made with the edit summaries of "edited so it will not be deleted" and "do not delete" didn't add anything to the article that would prevent it from being deleted.
- "At the very least bring it back and start discussion?" -- Again, no, I will not restore the article with the same contents. If you wish to continue our discussion on it here, feel free to do so. See Wikipedia:Why was my page deleted?#What you can do about it for more information on what you can do about it. See bullet point #1. "If you are still not satisfied after discussing it with the deleting admin, consider starting a deletion review."

[edit] edit deleted page
I am unsure how to fix the content if the page is deleted. I am even unsure if I am using this discussion area correctly Fuel for the kize (talk) 20:48, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- I advise you to rewrite the article from scratch. As I said above, it appeared to start off with an unsourced description of something like Tater Tots, then continued with a disparaging description of a forum-goer. Neither of which are appropriate for Wikipedia. --Geniac (talk) 20:59, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

- Are you saying that, besides the unsourced tater tot reference, the rest of the content belongs on my "user page" tab? That makes sense. Is there a way to retrieve the data without restoring the original page?Fuel for the kize (talk) 22:39, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

- You didn't have an unsourced Tater Tot reference, you had an unsourced description of something called tatterbits, apparently something like Tater Tots. No, I didn't say the rest of the content belongs on your user page. I said the rest was a disparaging description of a forum-goer. Neither of which are appropriate for Wikipedia. That means anywhere, including a user page. Yes, there is a way to retrieve the previous content without restoring the original article, but I will not do so, as I do not believe there is anything salvageable. --Geniac (talk) 13:36, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

- Tatterbits is my online personality. I used the tater tots reference as a background to the name. Are there strict guidelines what I am allowed to write in my user page? Digging around I do not see a policy, but I assume there is one. --Fuel for the kize (talk) 13:59, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
