Fuerza Regia

Fuerza Regia is a team in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico playing in the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP). Their home arena is the Arena Monterrey.

As of April 25, 2007, Fuerza Regia signed Chinese basketball player Sun Ming Ming, the world's tallest active basketballer at 7'9. Sergio Ganem, the team's president, has stated that this contract is the next step for the franchise.

NBA Chicago Bulls superstar Dennis Rodman was signed for three games but played for five minutes total. Former George Washington University star T.J. Thompson played for the team as well.[1]

Fuerza Regia's Jamario Moon was signed by the NBA's Toronto Raptors for the 2007-08 and 2008-2009 season.
