Fuerte Apache

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Barrio Ejército de los Andes, better known as Fuerte Apache, (probably after the film Fort Apache, The Bronx) is a neighbourhood of Ciudadela, near the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Because of its high crime rates, the quarter of tall block buildings is considered one of the most dangerous neighbourhood in Greater Buenos Aires and in the whole country[citation needed]. Football star Carlos Tévez, nicknamed Apache, grew up in this quarter.
