FTM is a Three Letter Acronym which may stand for any of the following:

• Female-to-male transsexual; see transman.

• Fault tolerance management.

• An acronym for the words "Fuck that mate", a term often coined by people in the UK, used as an expression to mean "I can't be bothered."

• "Follow The Mackems", found written on many of the bricks of the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, with alternate meaning "Fuck The Mags", referring to the low esteem which Sunderland A.F.C supporters hold local rival Geordie team Newcastle United F.C..
