Fakel Ivano-Frankivsk is a Ukrainian football club based in Ivano-Frankivsk. It plays in the Persha Liha. The club was formed out of a school team of the University of Nafty i Hazu (Oil & Gas).

Colours are yellow-green.

On the 17th of July, 2007 an information was released to press that the FC Fakel Ivano-Frankivsk has been reformed into the FSC Prykarpattya. This reformation is rather a tradition, than just a change of the name as only the best team from Ivano-Frankivsk will carry that name. The initiative seems to be coming from the former president of the old Prykarpattya, Anatoliy Revutskiy who together with the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Viktor Anushkevichus, the president of the FC Fakel, Evstahiy Kryzhanivskiy, and Andriy Romanchuk signed the documents of the establishment of the FSC Prykarpattya. The director of the Municipal Central Stadium "Rukh" (Movement-English), Ivan Slusar became the executive director of the club.

FC Spartak Ivano-Frankivsk who was subsidized by municipal committee after it lost its main sponsor, Lukoil, still can't recover financially and seems to be losing its main and the only money generator as of now, the city. And even though the club scheduled to play, its fate will be known for sure in the few days. (July, 2007)

The new club's logo carries a year of the club's establishment 1989 as for the FC Prykarpattya. This implicitly says that Spartak simply changed its name again and continues to play in the Ukrainian First League. A similar thing has taken a place in the instance with FC LUKOR Kalush.
