Fruitcake (film)

Fruitcake is the title of an upcoming film by John Waters. It is a children's Christmas film.[1] The cast includes Johnny Knoxville and Parker Posey.[2] Shooting was set to begin in January 2008. The film will be sold worldwide by 2929 Entertainment[3] and Waters is in talks with THINKFilm to distribute it.[2]

Fruitcake is the story of a boy named Fruitcake, who with his parents shoplifts food. When they are caught, Fruitcake is separated from his parents when he runs away. He meets a girl being raised by gay parents who is searching for her birth mother.[2]
