[edit] Not a well-reasoned category
This is not a well-reasoned substitute category for "Korean fruits," "Japanese fruits," or "Japanese citrus" because those categories were subcategories of "Korean ingredients" and "Japanese ingredients," including fruits that, whether native to those countries or not, are integral parts of those nations' culinary traditions: as the persimmon for Korea or yuzu for Japan. Species of fruits native to Asia must be innumerable, thus this category does not at all fulfill the role it was intended to substitute for: either replacing the "Korean fruits" or "Japanese fruits" subcategories of "Korean ingredients" and "Japanese ingredients," or assisting editors wishing to easily identify fruits intimately associated with a particular national culinary tradition.
