I agree with your proposal. Otherwise people will just fight over it and waste time. I do however question why you assume the IMF is better than the cia a estimating gdp. Particularly in this case the IMF appears to have grossly miscalucalted equitorial guinea gdp. Are you sure its from this year?
- It's really hard to objectively state that either IMF or CIA is more accurate, but without details of either's methodologies, I would be inclined to favor the IMF as they are an organization that has more expertise in economics and finance, whereas the CIA has more expertise in less-relevent fields of intelligence.
