As per discussion on Talk:Assemblage 23 and Category talk:Goth, removing from Category:Goth and adding to List of non-goth musical artists popular within goth subculture. - Korpios 02:08, 20 Jun 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Unknown member in promo picture

I've just updated the promo picture in the infobox, but I can't identify the new live member.

If anyone knows whether he is Jared Slingerland or Craig Huxtable or someone else altogether, it would be appreciated if his name could be added to the picture caption. Many thanks.

[edit] Total Terror Part I, and Complete

Whenever this article is created, there should be a note saying that neither release includes the track "Eternal", which the original tape and its most popular bootleg, Everlasting Terror both have. Filter1987 02:07, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What does the name mean?

Hello everyone, what does Front Line Assembly genuinely mean, or what is the first (second, third ...) thing that comes to mind when hearing the name? Apologies, for I do not speak English as a native tongue (and automated translation tools mostly fail when confronted with two or more english words being one semantic phrase). I'd like to also include this information in the German article. Thanks in advance, -- marilyn.hanson 22:18, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Although this isn't a definitive answer, the band's name makes two things come to mind: "Front Line" and "Assembly Line." Front line being the foremost major elements of a deployed military force (where most fighting in theory takes place) and assembly line, the (industrial) manufacturing process. This adds up what with FLA being an industrial band with influences from science fiction conceptions of warfare (e.g. "Tactical Neural Implant"). Darkentity7 21:24, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
I believe Front Line Assembly refers to the first wave of manufacturing of a good.Yeago 20:57, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Monument link is wrong

The link for the Monument album (Discography: Other Work) points to an album of the same name by a band called Seigmen.

[edit] Delerium?

Delerium is perhaps more well-known than FLA. There should be some mention of this project within the article. The Jade Knight 22:36, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] LEFT SPINE DOWN + CHRIS PETERSON

I think seeing LEFT SPINE DOWN features 2 of the members of FLA....used to have a 3rd........and is produced by yet another member of FLA........Chris Peterson...............I think the act should be a RELATED BAND/ACT

also someone needs to make CHRIS PETERSON a wiki page...........right now all teh links to him go to a football player or some metal guitar guy..........wrong.--Hollywoodnorthreport 11:41, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

update...I have created a stub page for CHRIS PETERSON now you can add to it here .. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Peterson_(producer) I have updated alot of the FLA links on the main page and the album pages to correctly point to Chris`s new wiki page. About time the man had one..... Hollywoodnorthreport 09:07, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Discography images

...are gone, per WP:NONFREE. I'll work out a new discography section shortly, as the current one is kindof a mess. Tarc 15:28, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Initial update is in. Tarc 18:42, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Side Projects

Such a plain list like it is now feels somehow wrong. Some are side projects of Bill, some of Rhys, some of Chris... It should be added for clarity. --Duke B. Garland 18:49, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Tough call. I'm guessing you'd want to remove side projects unless two of the three above participated?Yeago 14:21, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

I think side projects from Jeremy Inkel should also be included. Hollywoodnorthreport (talk) 05:36, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
