[edit] Spoiler warning

This is one of the novels where it is essential that the reader is not immediately informed about the reason for the protagonist's strange behaviour. See also my comment about sujet and fabula at Wikipedia_talk:Spoiler#Harry_Potter_and_the_Deathly_Hallows (June 18, 2007). <KF> 21:53, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

This isn't the novel, it's an encyclopedia article about the novel. We do not and should not seek to reproduce the experience of reading the novel in this article. Moreover the part of this article into which you have inserted a "spoiler" tag is clearly marked "Plot summary". Because this is an encyclopedia, it should be assumed that a good plot summary will include all significant details of the plot--those items which you describe as "spoilers". Only a poorly written plot summary would omit anything important. The spoiler warning is therefore redundant. --Tony Sidaway 23:10, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
