[edit] History
The Frontlinetroop's origins date back to 2001, when the later Tiemp and Babaman formed a crew called "Rahza" together with a few friends. With the four MC's joining the crew one after the other, the Frontlinetroop released it's debut EP "breaking the rules" in 2006. The crew has got it's own studio called Bonobowoodstudio
[edit] Style
As the members' social (grown up in rich families) and musical backgrounds (gangsta & bling bling) differ in many points, the Frontline's music is quite experimental. The lyrics are hovering between battle- and conscious -Rap and are supported by dark, hard electronic beats, in majority of cases some dry one-shot samples covered with cheap synth and string lines. Their lyrics feature six languages: English, Swiss German, Portuguese, Patuá, Italian and Frog Language.
