[edit] Description

VA 2 LA is a mix tape released by The Lady of Rage on her independent label, Boss Lady Entertainment. A male announcer can be heard on almost every track, saying this such as "Rage Is Back"

[edit] Afro Puffs (Original And Remix)

The song Afro Puffs from the soundtrack for the movie Above The Rim is included on this cd. The reason why the version on this cd is called "Original and Remix" is because of it's instrumental. Afro Puffs Had originally had 2 instrumentals made for the song. The first one was for the Main LP Version and then when A video was made, Dr. Dre gave it a lighter instrumental. The version heard on this cd contains the Original LP instrumental for the first 2 verses and the video instrumental for the remainder of the song.

[edit] The interview (Feat. the Poetess)

On the Track, "The interview", The Poetess interviews other musicians asking them about this mix tape. Instead of having those musicians come to the recording studio, samples of their work are used as responses. The Poetess asks for R. Kelly's opinion and his response is a lyric from Trapped In The Closet Part 1 : "I'm telling you now this girl's so good that she deserves an oscar."
