From Nothin' to Somethin' is Fabolous' fourth studio album released on June 12, 2007.
It debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts, selling 159,000 copies in its first week[1] and 500,000 worldwide. The album has been certified Gold for sales of 542,000.[2]
Def Jam had pushed back the release date five times, starting with December 19 to February 27, then to March 23, then to April 17, next to May 18, and to its final release date on June 12.
XXL ranked From Nothin' to Somethin' the eighth most anticipated album of 2007.[3]
Despite a three-year gap since his last album, Real Talk, Fabolous has appeared on sporadic projects, including recordings by DJ Clue, Christina Milian, and Syleena Johnson.
