From Enslavement to Obliteration (demo) is the 6th demo by Napalm Death.

The demo was recorded on 15 March 1986 at Flick 8-track studio in Birmingham, England: the band recorded the demo live and then added a single guitar overdub.

The recording included a number of pieces ('Death By Manipulation', 'The Kill' and 'You Suffer') which were improvised live in the studio.

A number of the pieces ('Unclean', 'What Man Can Do', 'Death by Manipulation', 'Private Death' and 'Abbatoir') were never recorded again and do not appear on any later Napalm Death album releases in studio-recorded form.

The cassette was distributed by the group at their concerts in 1986 (on a C60 cassette with a front cover and lyric sheet by Nicholas Bullen), and went on to be widely traded on the 'underground tape-trading' scene across the globe.

The front cover of the demo cassette features an image from the film 'The Seventh Seal' (Sweden: 1956 - d/Ingmar Bergman).
