Frogwares is an independent adventure game development studio, having branches in Ukraine, Ireland and France.[1][2] Its president is Waël Amr.[3]
It is most well known for its ongoing Sherlock Holmes series of adventure computer games starring Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John H Watson, which began in 2002 with Mystery of the Mummy[3] and has been continued with Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring and most recently in 2006 with Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened.
It has also developed two adventure games based on the works of Jules Verne, the first of which was Journey to the Center of the Earth in 2003 and 80 Days in 2005 (based on Around the World in Eighty Days). Its most recent work is Dracula: Origin[4], which is slated for release in 2008 and is based on the legend of Dracula.
