[edit] Thanks for removing

Frise, thanks for removing this unsourced statement. I'd say it was correct on the basis of BLP alone, but if you add the editor's history of inserting unsourced attacks like that into articles, it makes perfect sense to remove it. Good job.--Kchase T 02:06, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Your comments are appreciated, thank you. Frise 02:14, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Richard Simmons

I noticed that you removed the entire Trivia section from the Richard Simmons article and I am curious as to your rationale. That is ALOT of material to arbitrarily remove from an article, particularly when it is not defamatory in nature. The material my not be footnoted, but based on the external links etc. it appears that the article is well researched. I was able to verify much of the Trivia information with a quick google check. Isn't there a tag that could be placed on the section until it can be footnoted? It seems kind of extreme to delete a whole sectiton. Cleo123 23:10, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Never mind, looks like someone else was thinking the same thing. Have a nice day! Thanks! Cleo123 23:13, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks (comments on User talk:Selket

Well, thank you. I know your only motivation was the improvemetn of Wikipedia. Looking back, I do understand your concern. I do think that somewhere there should be a debate about whether it is appropriate to quote a person's postings on Wikipedia. I think I was more ready to cite his quotes because I had been communicating with him for some time. When I disagree with someone, I've been known to disagree in a way that some people take as accusations that the other person was acting in bad faith, and if you think I accused you of acting in bad faith, I appologize. Anyway, it will be interesting to watch the article develop. --Selket 07:03, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Biography of living persons adminship

"Biography of Living Persons Administrators ("BLP Admins") carry out a specialized, narrowly tailored administrative role within Wikipedia." Please see WP:BLPADMIN to offer your thoughts on this proposal. CyberAnth 03:29, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pic of Stephen King's house in his article

Hi. I'm asking you this because you show up in the recent History of the Bios of Living Persons policy page. Since that policy indicates a respect for the subject's privacy and possible damage that their WP article can be done to them, is it really appropriate for the Stephen King article to feature a pic of his house, even if there are no copyright issues? [edit] WP:RFA

Ah, darn. Looks like my RFA didn't succeed. No doubt I'll take another run at it in a few months when my edit count isn't such an issue. Thanks for the vote of confidence. Cheers, LankybuggerYell ○ 03:04, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Thats not a username violation. I'd suggest that if you suspect sockpuppetry that you request a checkuser to look into the issue. See our requests for checkuser :) Cheers! —— Eagle101 Need help? 05:00, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

What name would it match? —— Eagle101 Need help? 16:54, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Well... do you suspect sockpuppetry? If so why don't you file a checkuser. —— Eagle101 Need help? 18:00, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] thanks

Frise, thank you for your kind support of my RfA, which closed successfully yesterday, and for your support of my sig. In the interest of not being disruptive, I decided it would be best to just change it back. Please feel free to drop me a note any time if there is anything that I might be able to do for you.
