Originally from Long Island and an East Meadow Little League all-star, Friend Mole moved with his family to San Jose, California as a teenager. Friend Mole earned a B.A. in philosophy in 1991, and since 2004 has been a Semitic language linguist. Friend Mole is married with two sons, and reads Moby Dick again and again.
