[edit] Cleanup
This page needs a lot of work. Take a look at the BMB page that's just had an overhaul, that's what this one needs to be like. It wouldn't take too long. If anyone's planning to re-read from the start anytime soon, it'd be nice to get an 'episode guide' for easy navigation through the main storylines. Other than that it's just general expansion and cleanup... Romansanders 11:25, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- Aside the episode guide is there specific ways that this needs to be rewritten? I think that it's just not received the same attention, to be honest... Bo-Lingua 13:28, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- There doesn't appear to be a specific way of laying out the page, though I only skim-read Wikipedia:WikiProject Webcomics. Once you get the basics in place it's not too much effort to expand the various sections. I suppose the fact that the comic is still updating may put some people off... but think how good it could be!Romansanders 17:16, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Spoilers?
- Kailen "Fox" Maharassa, a proclaimed bisexual who lives with his "asexual" lover.
- Collin Sri'vastra, a cynical, megalomaniacal poli-sci major, who has frequent falling-outs with his parents, and plans on ruling a South-American country by 30. He initially claimed asexuality, but has recently admitted to being gay.
- "Bootsie", Collin's personal slave acquired early in the strip. Bootsie's contract ended in late 2005, but she chose to remain Collin's assistant, in exchange for rulership over a village if Collin ever does suceed.
- "The Demon", first found in the refrigerator, then the hall closet, and now a recurring character.
- "N", short for Nyarlathotep; a friend of Fox's and the manifestation of the consciousness of pure chaos.
The bolded italics above were removed in a revert, and rather than start an edit war, I thought I'd put this out to interested parties, hence enabling concensus.
How much should we give away? Would it be a spoiler to announce that Collin has recently been forced to come to terms with his sexuality? Would it be a spoiler to announce that Bootsie has chosen to remain if only she gets a village to rule in Collin's future South American Banana Dictatorship? I think it adds to the article to have it, but I'm afraid it would be a spoiler that we wouldn't want to give away to prospective readers. Bo-Lingua
- I think the information on Bootsie is a little superfluous, but I feel that Collin's realisation of his sexuality should be mentioned, though perhaps a spoiler warning should be put up. Also, I hope that dies in if Collin ever dies suceed is a typo! Erekrose 02:42, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Thecrawlingchaos.gif
Image:Thecrawlingchaos.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
